Story :
The story is about Murthy (Abbas) and his wife Swarajyam (Tabu) and their greediness. Murthy is a corrupted reporter who handles the beat of ‘crime’. One day, a train accident happens in the city and Murthy and his photographer (Sunil) reach to the cover the story. Instead of doing their job, they loot the gold ornaments and the other belongings of the dead passengers in the accident. They reach home with a bag of ornaments and a suitcase.

Later it comes to the light that a suitcase consisting of precious diamonds worth Rs 500 Crores is missing from one passenger. And the diamonds belong to Prime Minister of India who hails from Andhra Pradesh. The police are now on the hunt for the diamonds. Meanwhile, Swarajyam sees the diamonds in the suitcase and keeps secretly in bathroom without informing her hubby. The rest of the film is how police, thieves, lawyers, and politicians indulge in heinous acts to grab the diamonds to their own.

Introduction

There is a lot of difference between a classic and its remake. Premabhishekam of yesteryears was a tragedy, while its remake now with the same title is given a comical touch. Dasari Narayana Rao who created the yesteryears classic with Akkineni Nageswara Rao is the same who provided the story to its parody version with comedian Venu Madhav. This film happens to be the debut film of Venu Madhav as producer, while director Vikram Gandhi seems to have learn t no lesson from the disaster of his debut film State Rowdy.

Story:
The film begins with Nageswara Rao (Venu Madhav) who is known as ‘Tablets’ Nageswara Rao for his habit of taking pills for every small thing. He has a granny Rayalaseema Sakunthala (Telangana Sakunthala) who is bent upon getting him married to his relative (Geetha Singh). However, he asks for 100 days time so that he gets the girl of his choice so that she can get him married. He comes to Hyderabad and shares his woes with Muralimohan (Sunil). In this process, he meets Sridevi (Priya Mohan) at the temple and decides to love her. However her father puts a condition that he must earn 25 lakhs to give his daughter. So Nageswara Rao sets off on the streets selling dummy medicines and an ad agency incharge is impressed with his skills and makes him head. In no time, Nageswara Rao earns the money and everything is ready for the marriage when he hears a telephonic conversation of his doctor (Dharmavarapu) and thinks that he is suffering from cancer. He decides to stay away from Sridevi and in this process he gets close to the Mumbai model Jayasudha (Ruthika). When he goes to Mumbai for an ad film, he meet up Hari Bhai (Sri Hari), Jayasudha’s brother. What happens in the end? How does this confusion get cleared, all this forms the rest of the story

Performance:
Venu Madhav is good in the parts where he imitated Rajnikant, ANR, Bala Krishna and Pawan Kalyan. But he could not get it well in scenes where it needs seriousness. One wonders why he thinks that people want to see him in duets where he serious dances like a professional hero. Priya Mohan is not up to the mark. Ruthika is adequate.

Srihari is the good in the role of don. But his characterization is not up to the mark. Nagababu has a small role. Ali is pretty impressive. Sunil is alright as hero’s competitor. This film is heavily inspired by Satish Kaushik directed Bollywood film ‘Shadi Se Pehle’ (2006). Incidentally, this film has strange coincidence to Premabhishekam as well.

The direction ofthe film is ok in parts, but disappointing in the second half. The execution and screenplay should have been better. The director is ok at doing comedy scenes. But his work is not up to the mark in shooting other aspects like love, sentiment, action etc. On a whole, Premabhishekam is a bad copy of “Shadi Se Pehle” However, running of this film is B and C centers is not ruled out.

Conclusion:
An assortment of ten different films which have been made into one, the whole cocktail was a real mess. The first half took off to a boring start and things got a bit better with the entry of Sri Hari in the second but not for long. If the director thought that grouping together a list of noted comedians and actors will give him success then he is in for a big mistake. Venu from his end needs to focus more on his originality than mimicking, that way his brand as a comedian will stand apart. The cheap comedy shown in this film might go well with the core front bencher’s but otherwise, there is nothing for the class or the other sections of audience.

our verdict : A painful and annoying treat!!

Jalsa Fans Wait Continues...

Jalsa postponed to April

Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited action –thriller Jalsa has now been postponed and the trade buzz is that the film will now release on April 2nd. The makers blame this delay on some technical reasons and CG work taking time. Remember that the film was supposed to release on March 28th. Producer Allu Aravind is said to be in favour of releasing the film on April 2nd. He also feels that by then the exams will be over and the film will get a long weekend to cash in without any opposition. Jalsa, which has been making all the buzz for long time, is going to set new records as it is releasing with highest number of prints (nearly 400 prints) and record number of theatres are booked for it. Jalsa Mobile Game has been Launched

A new trend has been created in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa. For the first time, a mobile and online game is modeled on the character of a protagonist of a Telugu film much before its release. A game on Jalsa has been designed. The game-movie is being developed by RZ2 Games, a gaming company based in Goa. In the game, Pawan Kalyan performs 6 types of moves, including 4 types of kicks other than punches and flips. The game has four levels. The characters in the game are Sanjay (Pawan Kalyan), Bhagyamati (Ileana) and Reddi (Mukesh Rushi). The game is released on Saturday, March 22, 2008.

Today there is another leak and ths time it is not on the internet but it is on tv. Yes !!!!! a popular telugu news channel leaked the basic story of Jalsa movie which has Pawan Kalyan, Ileana, Parvathi Melton and Kamalini Mukerjee in lead roles.

What are the makers of Jalsa movie doing??? Are they sleeping???? there was an audio leak, then a video leak and now story leak. Whats happening????? What else will be leaked before the actual movie release?????

The story goes like this:

Pawan Kalyan alias Sanjay is a college student who first falls in love with Kamalini Mukerjee. But for some reason she cheats or ditches him and walks away from his life. From then on Pawan goes on tellling everybody, both boys and girls not to love anybody. But he meets Ileana in college and falls in love with her.

Here enters Parvathi Melton who also loves Pawan an doesnt like him going around with Ileana. She goes and reports Ileana’s love matter to Illi’s Father. Obviously father turns angry an asks his daughter not to talk to the her

But our man is the hero, so he directly goes to the heroine house and tells her father that he is going to stay there in his house for some time to show him how much he loves his daughter. What happens next should be seen on the screen… In-between there will be few fight sequences and song sequences in the movie.

But if this leaked story is to be believed (which i personally dont believe) then guys don’t u find 1st half resembling Manmathudu and 2nd half resembling Bommarillu.

If Jalsa movie really has this story then i am little doubtful about its success because the audience cannot see Bommarillu repeating before their eyes with just a different hero….. What do u all say guys?????

Chinna (Nitin) is a care free youth, son of business tycoon Lion Rajendra (naga babu). He falls in love with Sunanda (kajal). So we have a hero and heroine falling in love according to the norms. Now we must have a villain that is bonala sankar (Siva Prasad) in the city whose main aim is to multiply his money and power (as usual). After some fights, songs and entertainment scenes (so called) there is a twist which leads us to interval where the lead pair finds themselves in an arranged match. Post interval, the story heads to rivalry between fathers of lead pair and thus chinna and bonala sankar. The rest is how chinna makes bonala sankar to come on to his knees.

Nitin has done his job well. He excelled in dances and scenes involving emotion and sentiment. However he must concentrate on improving his diction which is very swift, most of the times. He must be more careful in choosing his ventures until it gets too late. Kajal is ok.Siva Prasad is a seasoned actor and tried to justify his casting well. Naga babu, jayasudha and late Raghuvaran were good. Venumadhav tried to evoke some laughs.

A.S.Ravi Kumar choudhary came in to limelight with his initial ventures manasutho and yagnam. He made a failure attempt to reach the biggies club with Balayya (VEERA BHADRA). In this film Choudhary starts narration with the contemporary legislatives and their demonic deeds in an interesting way. However he lost his path completely within few scenes after titles. Dialogues could have been better. Usage of words like "bo…" and mother asking daughter whether she's "fresh" reflect the degrading and rotten taste of the dialogues written. Choudhary has the credits for dialogues too.

Aatadista Review - Exclusive Digitalrays

C.kalyan and vijayanand produced the film. Production values are high but, what is nagging is that how come C.kalyan involved in a project like this immediately after making chandamama.

Music is by Chakri. This is a disappointing album from him after good one, Krishna. Rerecording was good at parts. One cannot identify a single song to hum.

Final verdict: Movie got lukewarm response. And it takes a lot to regain the investments, as there is only one week left for most awaited release of the year.

It seems that controversy and Ram Gopal Varma simply cannot live without each other. Director Ram Gopal Varma is in the news again. This time, it's the music giant T-Series which has filed a case against him.

According to our confirmed sources, the music giant T-Series have filed an FIR (First Information Report) against Ram Gopal Varma in the Noida Police Station (Sector 20), New Delhi. The charges levied on him included fraud, conspiracy, extortion, cheating and criminal breach of trust, under IPC Sections 385, 409, 420, 421 and 422.

Ramu has been facing a rough patch for quite sometime now, both on the professional and personal front. With nothing going right in his way, one simply wonders what will happen to the fate of his forthcoming Sarkar 2!

Katrina Kaif : Most expensive item

Katrina Kaif is allegedly paid a whooping 1.5 crore for an item number in Shree Ashtavinayak’s upcoming flick Blue. With he staggering amount Katrina Kaif becomes the highest paid item girl in Bollywood. Blue stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta in lead roles.

" A Bollywood insider revealed, Katrina Kaif has become a sort of a lucky mascot, after all her films have done well. The actress is now getting any price she is demanding. Shree Ashtavinayak’s Blue has a 100-crore budget. When the production house asked her to do an item number, Kat initially refused, as she doesn’t want the label of an item girl. But when the makers agreed to pay her a 1.5 crore fee and offered a few more scenes, the actress accepted.”

Katrina has said yes to the offer, and has allotted ten day for the song in the month of May.

" When contacted, Katrina confirmed the news; I am doing something very special in Blue. I wouldn’t call it an item number. I have given ten days for the film, May onwards. They require seven days for the song. The other bit will take three days.”

" Katrina also revealed about her 1.5 crore contract and said, “The figure you’ve quoted is pretty accurate.”

" Parag Desai, the media consultant for Shree Ashtavinayak says, “We have indeed signed Katrina for Blue. We would not like to disclose the figures involved. Also, she has a proper role in the film.”

Now that’s a great moolah for Katrina’s jhatkas and matkas.

Stoneman Bollywood movie Synopsis:
The serial killer aptly dubbed "Stoneman" by the media has just claimed his fifth victim. The modus operandi has once again been the same – the victim killed in his sleep by a heavy stone thrown at his head. These random killings are of little interest to most of the Bombay Police force but to suspended sub-inspector Sanjay Shelar (Kay Kay Menon) this killer poses an opportunity. Sanjay hopes to track this killer down and thus possibly find an entry back into the police force. With the secret aid of his patronizing superior AIG Satam (Vikram Gokhale), Sanjay begins the arduous process of tracking this killer down. But the chain of events that follow, lead the official police investigator of the case - Inspector Kedar Phadke (Arbaaz Khan) to suspect Sanjay of being the killer himself. Even as Sanjay, Kedar and Satam jostle amongst themselves, the Stoneman stalks the streets unabated, claiming victim after victim ...

At the age of 43, he looks 23. Aamir Khan, the Mr. perfectionist cut the cake in front of media celebrating his 43rd birthday. Apart from cutting the cake, he also shed off his hairs and went bald. Neither was it holy ritual nor was Aamir on high due to his birthday. It was for Mani Rathanam’s forthcoming Hindi remake of ‘Ghajani’ (still untitled), shaved his head and went bald. As the movie is action thriller, Aamir needed some new kind of look and director suggested the bald look.

Apart from going bald, Aamir also gained six packs for the role. Bollywood seems to be going into six packs spree. After ARK gaining six packs within three months, Aamir took a challenge of doing the same in three weeks. Believe it or not, Aamir re-gained his lost six packs (during promotion and post-production phase) within 21 days. How could Mr. Perfectionist led down himself ?

Dr. Sagar (Sudhanshu Pandey) is a psychiatrist residing in London. He is accosted by a girl, Dhara (Hrishitaa Bhatt), who is being chased by some goons. Dr. Sagar rescues Dhara and takes her to his own home. He finds that she is mentally disturbed and gets police permission to treat her at his own home rather than use shock treatment on her.

With good humane treatment at the doctor’s house, Dhara gradually recovers. Dhara and Dr. Sagar get involved with each other; inadvertently, sexually as well. The doctor decides to marry her but he is, meanwhile, called back to India. In his absence from London, his friend, Sahil (Anuj Punj) from India, comes to live in Sagar’s house. Dhara and Sahil fall in love with each other.

When Sagar returns from India and discovers that Sahil and Dhara are in love with each other, he gets a shock and, in turn, gets mentally disturbed. Dhara now realizes that Dr. Sagar is her saviour and the person she should love, rather than Sahil. She begins to tend to the doctor. Sagar recovers his mental balance but in the end, Dhara loses it once again.

To cash in on her image, director Venky (whose last two films bombed miserably at B.O) dishes out Mangatayaru Tiffin Centre, which is, in one word, pure torture. It is one of the most unbearable movies in the recent times. The film's title should have been Mangatayaru Television Serial. An insipid and stupid offshoot of Balakrishna's Samarasinha Reddy, the film never moves further and the director weaves some dream sequences with each of six lusty characters dreaming to spend a day with Mangatayaru. All the characters indulge in dream songs with her at the drop of a hat. Still want to know the story? Well, it goes like this. Mangatayaru (Mumaith Khan) comes to a small village to put up a 'Tiffin center'. The village’s president (Jeeva), doctor (Surya), a tailor, a shop owner, a photographer and two others go out of their way to help her setting up the hotel. They lust for her and woo her desperately. Meanwhile, Mangatayaru voluntarily helps a poor woman Parvathamma (Sudha) who struggles to bring her three grownup daughters. Why Mangatayaru helps this poor family? Why does she come to this village is the rest of the story. Unimaginative presentation, awkward dialogues and horrible acting by Mumiath Khan makes the film most insufferable one.
